Intel Logo

The Intel logo pairs Intel Blue (#0071C5) with white and a brighter energy-blue accent (#00C7FD), set in the company's own Intel One typeface from its 2020 rebrand. That redesign, led by Andrew Mirakian's in-house team, dropped the long-running blue swoosh and squared off the letterforms while keeping the lowercase wordmark Intel has used since 1968. Approved logo files and press kits are available from Intel's official Press Hub.

Intel Logo Font

The Intel wordmark is based on Intel One, the brand's custom geometric sans-serif introduced in the 2020 rebrand. Fonts used in brand logos are often customised and are not always available for licensing — use the official brand resources below for any approved assets.

Intel Logo History & Meaning

Intel has carried a lowercase wordmark since the company was founded in 1968, when the original mark famously dropped the 'e' below the baseline to give the name a distinctive shape. From 1991 onward the swirling 'Intel Inside' badge made the brand visible on PCs worldwide, and a blue swoosh circled the wordmark from 2006. In 2020 a redesign led by Andrew Mirakian's in-house team stripped away the swirl and oval, squared off the letterforms, and paired the cleaner wordmark with a new proprietary typeface called Intel One.

Intel Logo FAQ

What font is the Intel logo?

Since the 2020 rebrand the wordmark uses Intel One, a custom geometric sans-serif designed for the company. It features squared-off terminals on the 'i' and 'l' and a shortened crossbar on the 't'.

What colour is the Intel logo?

The logo is built around Intel Blue, roughly #0071C5, often shown on white or alongside a brighter energy-blue accent near #00C7FD. White is used for the wordmark when it sits on a blue background.

Who designed the current Intel logo?

The 2020 redesign was produced by Intel's in-house brand team led by Andrew Mirakian. The same project created the Intel One typeface that the wordmark now uses.

How has the Intel logo changed over the years?

The dropped-'e' wordmark dates to 1968, the 'Intel Inside' badge arrived in 1991, and a blue swoosh wrapped the name from 2006 to 2020. The 2020 version removed the swoosh and oval for a flatter, more geometric look.

Where can I get the official Intel logo?

Intel publishes approved brand logos and press kits on its Press Hub at newsroom.intel.com/press-hub, where logo files are offered as downloadable ZIP packages. Use of any Intel mark must follow Intel's trademark and brand guidelines.
