Netlify Logo

The Netlify logo pairs a teal Spark mark (about #00C7B7) with a wordmark set in Pacaembu, the typeface from Naipe Foundry. Introduced in March 2023 and designed by staff designer Teresa Carter, the Spark splits a single beam of light into many lines that converge into an N, a nod to one input producing many outputs. You can find the official logo files and usage guidelines on Netlify's About page.

Netlify Logo History & Meaning

Netlify launched in 2014 with a teal gem mark that an early community member named Jeff sketched for the young hosting platform. In March 2023, after eight years with that emblem, Netlify introduced a refreshed identity built around a new mark called the Spark, designed by staff brand designer Teresa Carter. The Spark draws on optical dispersion, the way a single beam of light splits into many colours, with lines that converge into the shape of an N to suggest one input producing many outputs. The teal that defined the original gem carries forward as the brand's signature colour.

Netlify Logo FAQ

What font does the Netlify logo use?

The Netlify wordmark is set in Pacaembu, a typeface from Naipe Foundry that the company adopted as its primary brand face. Netlify pairs it with the Google font Mulish for secondary website text.

What are the Netlify brand colours?

Netlify's signature colour is a bright teal, roughly #00C7B7, carried over from the original gem mark. It is balanced against a dark near-black (around #0E1E25) and white for contrast across interfaces and marketing.

Who designed the current Netlify logo?

The current Spark mark, introduced in March 2023, was designed by Teresa Carter, a staff brand designer at Netlify. The original teal gem that preceded it was created by an early community member named Jeff.

What does the Netlify Spark logo mean?

The Spark is based on optical dispersion, the splitting of light into separate colours, representing one input creating many outputs. Reoriented, its converging lines also read as velocity, like a launching rocket, and the lines resolve into the shape of an N.

Where can I get the official Netlify logo?

Netlify publishes its full logo, monogram, encapsulated logo, badges, and brand guidelines on its official About page at netlify.com/about, where the logo assets are offered as downloadable files.
